But it really seems that the rules about finality of judgements should be viewed with appropriate skepticism in a death penalty case. If I remember right, he was convicted of felony murder and probably won’t go free upon reversal of the death penalty, if it happens. But felony murder (just being along) is way different from “pulled the trigger” murder.
