All the groups you mentioned are not the ones coming up with the actual changes that are being pushed through. The actions by different officials across the three branches of the Fed are very coordinated and systematic, even as they seem chaotic in their implementation.

My comment was a facetious one, because I know that the majority of the actions are coming out of the Federalist Society, Heritage Foundation, Steve Bannon, Dan Schultz, Project 2025 authors, etc.

I agree that the information about strategy and plans were mostly out in the open. There was a lot of reporting and hand-wringing, but not enough was done to prevent or counter it. With the exception of the Democratic Attorneys General, who have met daily to prep lawsuits for the past 4-6 months, the Democratic Party completely underestimated and avoided the hard work required to do anything meaningful to prevent what has now come to be.

Where do we go from here? We are at a critical juncture, and the time for complacency has passed. We need to hold our current leaders accountable - and elect new leaders who will act urgently to stem the bleeding, triage the damage, and take aggressive countermeasures to regain political power. The GOP has already proven how effective a grassroots-focused Precinct Strategy can be, filling more precinct committee person positions than Democrats in key battleground states and creating a strong, organized base.
