Thank you Chris. All of what

you have written here is very

important. It's one of the

Pony up people. Well worth it,

especially now.

As a member of the LGBTQ COMMUNITY, I'm very worried about the violence that will come our way. Especially knowing that Donald already has a plan for Texas' Attorney General Ken Paxton who has openly stated that LGBTQ people should be killed.

I have always used my real name in posting anti Trump statements and I don't plan to change that. I hid myself from our bigoted lawmakers since childhood and until President Obama set us free. I'm not going back in the closet even for a murderous administration. In fact, I'm not at all surprised that Trump had so many men of various races voting for him. They don't want women or members of the peaceful LGBTQ COMMUNITY making decisions about anything that will threaten their egos and Donald Trump will go to no end to protect them and then throw them under the bus.

I'm really pissed that feeling hatred is now a permanent state of mind for me. I wish I could afford to move to Canada but I can't.

Thank you, sir, for doing your best to keep track of the evil ones.

Why is there such an assumption that there will be another election ???

Inquiring minds would like to know because all of the other fascist countries have ‘elections’ but they are a joke because the winner has been preselected.

Thanks for bringing that up. I don't trust Trump to do anything for anyone but himself.

Chris, you forgot the despicable Russ Vought.

I think that, now elected, Trump only cares about three things—staying out of jail (done), maximizing grift and revenge. All else he will probably leave to his amoral henchmen. Particularly Miller, that loathsome Roy Cohn wannabe. Fasten your seatbelts!

Thank you. I’m planning to do what I can to resist whatever TFG’s administration does. I’m just an ordinary person who is exiting the workforce at the end of the year. I seem to have fallen into a potential new full-time job.

Excellent Job outlining the new administrations first 100 days. I know what trump is going to be doing, intertaining Foreign Dictator's at the White House, golfing and appearing on TV 24-7. I'm glad you'll be here giving us the rundown daily's. Thanks, Chris, and will reStack ASAP💯👍

There is a brief mention here of the midterms. It is important to remember that Congress sets the rules for federal elections, and that there will be legislation passed to change those rules going forward, so that it will be more difficult for Democrats to win those elections. Just as one example, the end of the VRA could probably mean the elimination of a dozen or so Democratic U.S. House districts in red states. I would also be skeptical of Democrats' ability to fundraise and campaign freely under the new regime, given the way similar regimes hamper opposition parties. It's also common to try to declare some form of state of emergency, which may be why Republicans have spent so much time talking about unauthorized immigration.

After the Loper Bright/Corner Post/Jarkesy trifecta, is it going to be possible for any administrative agency to penalize anybody for, well, doing anything ever?

tRump, as u point out is fickle. He also, along w/Elon is impulsive and undisciplined. How many of the others in his circle share those 3 traits? We’ll have some decision makers w/the emotional maturity of 14-year olds.

Thank you, Chris. Have you yet considered cloning yourself a few times, or downloading into a brainy octopus AI with a few dozen tentacles? Covering such a wide swath of courts, cases, people, the House, Senate, presidency, DOJ, SCOTUS, the alphabet trove of federal agencies, and, their state level counterparts is daunting. Please keep your sanity and come up for air periodically. Your insights are far too valuable to lose.

Glad to see Environment listed amongst the concerns. All the threats to groups of people feel imminent. The environment affects all people everywhere, and with high business wealth interests so embedded in t’s team, I think roll-back of the US measures may well just slide through in the fog. My grandchildren are spread around the world….

I find it particularly alarming that Trump’s focus will be on attorney general, C.I.A. director, White House counsel and secretaries of Defense, State and Homeland Security. WH counsel and AG show that Trump is already planning loopholes for himself; the rest point to an authoritarian and warlike posture, including war at home against our own citizens.

I mean, in fairness, State, AG, and Defense have always been the Big Three. DHS has been key since it was created, if slightly less so for Obama. White House counsel, honestly, doesn’t surprise me after the year Trump has had. And, CIA tracks with Trump’s obsessions.

None of that to say this is good, but I think you have to be looking for your answers — and ignoring what would have been expected otherwise — to get to them.

Thanks for being the voice of reason. Unquestionably my fear is taking over my thinking a bit these days.

Aren’t there things Senate Dems can do, even in the minority, to obstruct confirmation of nominees? Republicans are always very successful in using obstructionist tactics when they are in the minority.

Chris, I appreciate the clear headed sanity and attention you give to areas of concern that you and we will be watching, and appreciate your candor in not knowing how this will unfold but rather give us a roadmap with possible directions that may follow. Thank you

I just can’t. We’re in Gotham, Penguin’s the mayor, TwoFace is DA, Joker is VP, Riddler’s running the Health Dept, and the entire cabinet is Arkham Asylum. Oh, and Batman’s dead.
