It has occurred to me that trump's lawyers are going to be stretched pretty thin when the other indictments come down. Which hearing to go to? Who will go? Who will make dozens of motions in assorted courts? Will any of the judges allow continuances on arguments of motions when another argument is scheduled elsewhere? Or extend deadlines?

Yes, indeed. This has been talked about quite a bit, particularly in regards to other ongoing civil matters. Trump himself will certainly have lots of court activity in the coming year. What's not clear to me, as to your specific point, is whether he'll have the same lawyers for all of the cases — they're different alleged crimes, after all — and whether the timing won't just end up working itself out in terms of scheduling. Motions practice could get a bit more complicated, admittedly.
