In a case over Texas's 2023 law requiring commercial porn sites to include age verification, the justices let the appeals court ignore precedent. Also: A big trans win.
It’ll be interesting to see what SCOTUS does with a transgender rights case of this sort, given that six of them seem to believe transgender people do not exist.
It seems that a disproportionate number of cases from the Fifth Circuit get heard and precedent is being abandoned in alarming numbers, even their own ruling from 2017 on recusal being ignored, destroying justice from within by handing team crazy wins.
This has been the "left of hyphen" M.O. since Clinton, they go more severe in their 2nd term, Clinton, Barry and now Confederate Joe; as if they, "had to". I used to actually watch C-Span congressional coverage in the 80s. It's not even interesting anymore. Everything's "The New Federalism" with your Host, Confederate Joe.
Judge Roger Gregory's nomination was a journey.

Bravo for Judge Gregory.
