That's pretty much how it was for me. I knew about it through news reports and then what we learned in school; it was all utterly horrifying. My school district was 99 44/100 white, and even in college the Black students had their own student union and kept mostly to themselves, and we didn't interact much. It wasn't till I was out of school and in the working world that my circle expanded.

There is a reason why so many rulings of this rogue majority of SCOTUS issue without reasoning, explanation or justification. So many of the rulings are unreasonable, inexplicable and unjustifiable. And this is so, because, in content, context and timing, they serve unjust ends.
These justices have so lost all intellectual integrity, by slavish adherence to a biased ideology — unfounded in fact, law, precedent, reason and reality — that no one of them could be trusted, reasonably, to preside over “traffic court” — without somehow demeaning their rulings with some taint of their odious politics.

It will take 292 house and 67 senate votes to obtain a supermajority vote. This is the key to accomplishing anything in the house or senate. The house and senate will be able to impeach Trump and his administration for their crimes and corruption.
The Democrats are the only ones that will stand against Trump. We have to vote out as many republicans as possible.
