This is what happens when you fire all the competent - and ethical - lawyers.

This, in a nutshell, is what the Trump administration is doing everywhere - Banana Republic style:

“Joun was not having it. “This logic, if followed, would preclude any form of judicial review as the Government’s self-proclaimed say-so would always be sufficient to defeat a motion to quash. This is no logic at all,” he wrote.”

It brings me back to Trump getting laughed at in a Scottish court where he was fighting a wind farm. When asked where his evidence was, he said , “I am the evidence.” He’s been batsh*t crazy for a loooong time. I feel sorry for judges that have to deal with this lying slop.

Uh-oh — more stamping of foot and ALL CAPS tirades in the wee hours. Ham fisted DoJ appeals to heaven.

Coming up, I guess, appeals ultimately to SCOTUS … which has shown a dab hand at ignoring lower courts’ findings.

I've lost track. Quite apart from investigation/subpoenas to medical facilities, is there actually any federal LAW that keeps kids from getting puberty blockers, with or without "meaningful assessments." I know a lot of STATES now have laws against treatment of trans people, but does an Executive Order declaring that something is a scientific "fact" actually allow the government to investigate "violations" of such "facts." Doesn't there have to be a statute determining that something is an "ideology" that can be suppressed?

I can see the way "defunding" hospitals is being used, and I can see that an agency has power over what Federal health insurance covers. Do these subpoenas attempt to cover ALL children or just those covered by Federal insurance?

Sorry if you've covered this before. If you have, please give the link. I looked at the two you included in the post, and neither answered my core question.
