I would argue that enforcing the integrity of offerings and financials in the market is just as complex as setting interest rates. What about the FDA? Biology is vastly more complex than setting interest rates. And nuclear engineering? What an incredibly naive view of the world.
That sentence expresses the core of what’s wrong with so called originalism. The country hadn’t been sealed in amber, everything is vastly more complicated and complex, and our interpretation of the Constitution must acknowledge that. .

It would seem that Roberts believes that he and his reactionary compatriots believe that they are the ones in control. Roberts with the immunity decision stated that the Supreme Court gets to decide what's an "offical presidential act and now they have the president can fire anyone he like as long as it doesn't impact their pocketbook. Precedent has no meaning for these radicals.

It seems to me that if an official's nomination is required by the Constitution to be confirmed by the Senate, the president should not be allowed to fire that official without Senate advice and consent, or at the very least, without cause. If the position is significant enough to require the people to consent, through the Senate, to the individual nominated for it, shouldn't the people have a say in the firing of that individual, or shouldn't the firing at least have to meet some standard greater than the president's will? That's obviously not in the Constitution, and it's not in statutory or common law, either, but to me it should be.
In any case, this is a rogue Court that is dismantling our system of government brick by brick. It must be reined in dramatically.
I don’t understand. If the president nominates and congress confirms, why does the president also need the power to remove for any reason anyone they decide later that they don’t like? Why have confirmation at all?
The Next president should truly test this and fire 3 supreme justices. The remaining justices will allow it. Confirm 3 new justices and then undo many of these illegal and illogical decisions.
I don’t know how they sleep at night. The framers made it clear that no one branch of our government wielded more power than the others. Many of their decisions contradict that principle. How they non chalantly through out years of sound reasoned decisions is abhorrent. Their explanations twist reason into illogical conclusions. They are doing as much damage to our democracy as the POTUS. Damages our standing in the world:

As a non-lawyer, it is simply my hope that Roberts, Alito and Thomas all get impeached for their financial corruption asap.

I wouldn’t be so sure that the other justices would allow it. Term limits, yes. At will firing of justices would just perpetuate the chaos.
