Bovino should deport himself if he is so concerned about crime in this country; he is always “ready to prey on Americans yet again.“

Deport ICE to Guantanamo.

I guess the Trump Administration’s New Year resolution is to blatantly ignore the written laws, the Constitution AND a federal judge’s order … white mediocrity, not superiority.

That's their law & disorderly. Dumb shits.

What’s easy to miss in rulings like this is how much work is being done by normalization rather than doctrine. Once courts start treating rights as administratively adjustable based on factors like geography, capacity, or efficiency, the legal question quietly shifts from whether a right exists to how burdensome it is to honor. That move tends to outlast the specific case and travel well beyond the issue that triggered it.

I'm pretty sure that happened long ago

"It is not, however, likely to be the last time for either of those moves in 2026."

Nope

Imagine if this sh*tty government spent this much energy and money , actually improving people's lives ..besides their own

Never, until we are purged of republicans. History always repeats itself.

Thank you.

Excellent report. Thank you. Just have to remark how Sean Penn's character in the great film, 'One Battle After Another,' Colonel Steven J. Lockjaw, would seem to have been totally modeled on Bovino. Of course, it's unlikely, since the film was made long before Bovino became a public figure, but the overall resemblance is remarkable, uncanny.

Bovino would be a total joke if his actions were not so serious & awful. He's a comic model of a fierce Gestapo officer. The sooner he faces his due and certain comeuppance, the better.

High school dropout? Fearless leader should call him low IQ. But dress up in daddy’s shoes and do whatever you want. Sadly it’s not pretend.

I understand that Maduro now has 8 American hostages. Maybe he can release them in small boats in the Caribbean?!?

It’s a while back now, but I believe a judge in California caught Bovino lying in one of the ICE cases. Normally something like that would get you demoted, or at the very least, moved out of sight. Instead he showed up in Chicago as the face of further cruelty, showing the arrogance of Bovino and the US government, and lack of accountability.

And of course Bovino admitted to lying in Illinois. They just don’t care. We’d better!

That picture of him (the second from the left), the aesthetics - Christ on a bike! I can’t decide what is worse: Either they didn’t see the historic references, then they’re just dim. Or they did it deliberately!

The shirt is a slightly different shade of brown than the Hitler Youth one; and the medals are different. But beyond that, it is really evocative.

Mr Abrego and his lawyers deserve medals for perseverance! Thanks for making this mess a bit clearer with your summary.

Defund Abolish ICE!

The Trump regime has learned that obstinate refusal to obey court orders has been without consequences for anyone but Mr. Abrego Garcia and others in his situation. No wonder it continues to do so. There must be penalties imposed on Bovino, Noem, Homan and their ilk, and impeachment of Trump. Otherwise, things will get worse.
