“This is a resource for folks who are focused on what the legislature can accomplish,” the Institute for Responsive Government's Sam Oliker-Friedland said of the Election Policy Progress Reports.
Once again, Republicans were/are way ahead of the Democrats in figuring out that the way to power (for the "Rs") was to limit voting, because by and large, their policies are not as popular as those of the "Ds". So, they worked on stocking the court systems with friendly judges and then went to the second part of the plan, which was to pass voter suppression laws. The Republicans act, the Democrats react. It's one reason why Roe v. Wade is now no longer precedent in this country.
