Daniel Flickinger was one of the DOJ lawyers who sued Harvard on Friday. As recently as last June, he was still fighting in court over the fallout from the 2020 Facebook post.
Astounding! The GOP - ready to blame the Iran War on the Jews - sues about antisemitism? Pure hypocrisy. The right wing, especially Richard Nixon, has always harbored the same casual bigotry as Trump: Jews are only good for lawyering and accounting.
Would an individual with 34 felony fraud convictions who has been credibly implicated in a massive child sex trafficking and sexual abuse ring find a way to permanently silence the leader of that ring whom he had once called his "good friend"?
There is a lot of important stuff happening, and you're doing wonderful work; but you sure seem to have gone silent on the project to render trans people stateless in their own country. As a subscriber, I'm kind of having some WTF moments over here. I know a lot is going on, and that you are one person doing his very best, and I appreciate you. Hopefully you will not find it inconsistent of me to be grateful for all you do, while still asking you to look a little more at issues concerning a large class of law abiding, rule following citizens who are being systematically denied equal protection and due process.
In the last few weeks heβs written several things about cases and policies affecting trans rights. what do you feel like would be more adequate coverage?
There are a number of extremely important cases that have gotten no coverage that I saw, especially one out of the 4th circuit that is absolutely shocking. I feel like pointing to some coverage from the past doesnβt address the worsening situation for trans people as it unfolds daily.
Bombastic to say the least. Thank God, if there is such a thing, that my father would not pay for me to go to law school. Instead an M.Ed would suffice, although I'd rather be in this fight. Get them, ASAP !!!

As to the current DoJβits blind loyalty to Trump, rather than the law or Constitution, has led to βway below par attorneys. Coinky-dink?
The purpose of a system is what it does π€·ββοΈ
This system? In a word, bupkis.
Totally Screwed.
Worse than bupkis, far worse π€¬

Love the truth.
Old Bill knew his beans.
I have a hypothetical for Flickinger:
Would an individual with 34 felony fraud convictions who has been credibly implicated in a massive child sex trafficking and sexual abuse ring find a way to permanently silence the leader of that ring whom he had once called his "good friend"?
You know, hypothetically speaking.
I'm not sure about that, but he would try to stay in power indefinitely in order to avoid accountability for his many, many crimes.
Not a hypothetical (probably.)
Sigh. And if any campus anti war protestor happens to mention Israel's role in this war, yet another excuse to cut funding to that campus.

Thanks. Iβm going to guess that the general public is mostly unaware of this disturbing news on DOJ & civil rights so Iβll re-stack it.
