Judge Patrick Schiltz quashed federal grand jury subpoenas issued against Minnesota officials. The move echoes the quashed Federal Reserve and trans care subpoenas.
Geidner highlighted that Judge Schlitz called the Minnesota subpoenas "blatantly unlawful and unethical," and noted that Judge Schlitz has called attention to other ethical failures, including not complying with court orders.
Let us hope that the movants will seek sanctions, and that this rogue office, headed by Daniel Rosen, will be held to account.
When do they start sanctioning Blanch? How many chances does Trump get to file bogus documents or ignoring court orders before ordering him to ask the court for permission to file a new lawsuit? In Commonwealth countries costs are awarded to the winning side. The judge orders the losing side to pay. It has limits but it makes someone like Trump think before acting
In answer to the question I’m going to say “no”. It is possible, however, that the processes are being deliberately tanked because the lawyers behind them 1) know the underlying case is BS and 2) they need the job. I can’t underestimate the basic need for a regular paycheck.
We are talking about a huge group of spineless people who are now in key positions in DOJ, and every branch of the government, including Congress and the Supreme Court. All only do DJT's bidding despite laws, logic, and decency.
It does seem that the dedicated and professional US attorneys have been purged or have resigned for the US attorneys’ offices to be reduced to the incompetent and/ ethically and professionally compromised apparatchiks now squatting there doing the bidding of the WH while kicking into back rooms and dusty corners the traditional work of the offices to pursue baseless vendettas against those on Trump’s “enemies list”.
Very nicely explained. Thank you.
Enter Trumplandia … leave brains at door.

It is quite obviously amateur hour at the DOJ. Were these attorneys sleeping during Civil Procedure class?
Will this decision help states and citizens push back on Trumps orders intended to disrupt the mid terms?

Thanks again for your clear analysis and provision of relevant court documents. I, too, am a law dork.
"Wut's a sub peener?" one lawyer was heard to ask on the way out the door.
