This is insanity. We'll all be exhausted trying to keep up. I take some heart from how quickly the lawsuits hit the courts, and knowing even more will be coming. It is imperative that everything be challenged.

But I am sorry for the transgender community and their families. They should not be put through this.

Thank you. Please telephone your state and Federal representatives. Thank them if they stand up for us and let them know, as their boss, that you will hold them personally responsible if they and their party harm Americans.

As a relative of a transgender person, I’m ready to take this asshat on. He dared to threaten to prosecute parents of transgender kids, focusing on sanctuary states. The fight is on!

So the government is offering people a choice to put in their resignation 8 months early? With the only benefit being they get to keep working from home? Except Trumps Schedule F EO will let them fire people at will anyway if there’s not Federal judge halting that insanity? Thanks for covering all this. Particularly the Nazi like attacks on trans people

Project 2025 running the show, no doubt about it...tRump consigned his minions to follow the syllabus, and they are doing it ardently. Are "camps" the next step in isolating the trans community from the rest of us? Parents included?

Are members of the military considered federal employees? What would happen if our military resigned and only trans people enlisted?

Wouldn't it be a riot if only trans people were signing up to serve?

That the DOD is dishonorably discharging trans people who are willing to die for their country and who have served honorably, is insane and illegal. They are saying they dishonor the service about lying about their sexual identity. M-f-ers. Which probably means no veteran benefits, no pension. Also, veterans get an advantage in education training and jobs, which these persons now have yet another strike against them achieving success in their careers. I have strong feelings going on --deep breathing. I am hoping there are already lawsuits flying in support.

donvict should have to register as a sex offender at every residential address, including the WH and should have no say whatsoever about especially children and teens. While the EO "sounds" official, some of the terms are as stupid as was his constantly stating that kids go into schools one gender and come out the other gender by the time the school bus home arrives--HAH! This is an extremely stupid person, and so are all the idiots at the HF, although they are cunning. These people are obsessed with genitals--and in order to "catch" alleged trans people, they'll be looking at ALL of ours in restrooms, locker rooms, etc.. And they also enjoy distracting--we're not distracted--a whole lot of other stupid idiots of America from the seriously damning language that threatens to affect nearly everyone and that is "gender roles"--if you blink, you'll miss it. BTW little blue pills = gender affirming care. PS, perhaps this EO will do one positive thing...FINALLY make it illegal to ACTUALLY mutilate the genitals, and at the same often ruin the lives, of intersex people. Go ahead idiot haters, call me a "groomer"--woo, I NEVER hear THAT. Walk in my shoes first.

Thank you, Chris! I’ve been trying to let a little time pass after these horrible actions to keep myself sane. Before I can achieve sanity, there’s more! It’s exhausting! Thank you for guiding us through it!

Not to mention violating hid Friday Night Massacre illegally firing inspectors general, firing the DOJ attorneys, and illegally impounding Federal appropriations. We are in for one big swamp of high handed and illegal behavior from someone who thinks he has more power than he does. The only real deep state is the one Trump wants to create, and the only swamp is the one he wants to build by excluding citizens from being heard by their own government.

Unfortunately this is all is not surprising. He had already indicated he‘d do it. And as he see‘s himself as the law, and his word only is the law where your SCOTUS is obviously concerned, the only way out is a complete systemic change and the removal of all people condoning to the now totalitarian regime from all branches of the system.

I agree that the blanket ban sucks, but I’m not sure blaming journalists for covering the debates within the field of youth gender medicine is fair.

Berating coverage from places like the New York Times (ex: Bazelon’s 2022 article on WPATH internal discussions on best practices) gives off a “shooting the best messenger” vibe.

This is especially relevant due to the recent systematic reviews in Europe (ex: the York SRs that informed the Cass Review). It would honestly be preferable to have clinical trials been a blanket ban.
