Why do they just focus on ridiculous culture wars? Probably because they are robbing us blind in broad daylight and they think we won ‘t know.

DoJ files emergency request to SCOTUS to allow trans discrimination in the military while blatantly blowing off two federal judges and SCOTUS itself on Abrego Garcia—who said irony is dead?

the word "discrimination" is usually reserved for classes of people who have traits they cant change and cause them to be marginalized. for example, women, gays and ethnic minories dont choose to be women, gay or ethnic minorities and are thought to be marginalized due to their unchangable characteristics. but its not established that gender ID is not a choice. more information about gender ID is being found out all the time. a review of german insurance records found by year 4, 50% of people who had been taking gender meds stop taking them. in other words, in germany most who ID as trans discontinue this identity eventually. there is a lot of claims and studys that surround this issues. almost all of these claims are produced by groups with an activist intrest. when governments around the world look at these claims, they almost never hold up.

This administration has now become what Rachel Maddow calls the “Oopsie” regime

My goodness, but isn't THAT just so EFFICIENT?! Such brilliant direction could only come from a rugged depth of experience having absolutely zero organizational, strategic planning, military leadership, team building, morale nurturing, or budgetary knowledge. Sah-LUTE!

well, now we know that this government would be free to ban those of African heritage from the military for being too lazy and uppity--just because stopping this would be "usurping the Executive Branch’s authority to determine who may serve in the Nation’s armed forces."

Why would any Court grant a stay that will allow an actor to wreak irreparable damage during litigation, in case that actor is ruled against? A more rational approach is to preserve the status quo until a resolution has been reached.

Rational? We don't need no stinkin' rational.

We probably need to protect trans people from tRump and Hegseth’s military. They might be in danger for their lives if they were in the military with all the negativity from those people.

"Turning things on their head" could apply to virtually every executive order and presidential statement issued by Trump*, except for those that turn things inside out and on their head. Words have lost all meaning. And governing principles are demolished. Aside from being demeaning. reassignments destroy institutional memory.

The center long ago failed to hold. (Yes it's only been 3 months but it seems forever.)

*BTW: I always refer to Trump as Trump rather than one of the clever orange tinged epithets that are so popular because I can think of no word more despicable and vile than "Trump."
