I didn't *really* expect her to go back on it, given the findings of animus, but still good to see.

I am applying for my passport. There are two options. Female or male. Whatever protections are in this ruling, are not being held at the State Department.

There is an attestation form the class members have to submit with the application. You indicate X on the attestation form and are instructed to leave the sex field blank on the application. Not perfect but they are currently being issued with X to class members.

Thank you! Truly appreciated. There is no obvious information regarding sex class alternatives to M/F. Not that I could find in the instructions. Again, thank you!🤩

Naturally they are doing the bare minimum to comply. I'm glad I could help. Best of luck if you are applying.

I actually had a recent encounter with this, was updating my 15 yr old's passport and she wanted a non-binary gender marker and her chosen name, we asked the clerk in person if she could fill that in for us because the website said we had to request that in person, and she said we'd probably miss our trip, and they might bounce the request, so we decided to take it up after our trip. But I'll be interested to see if they're going to comply with the order.

I'm gonna be in dc poking around for a week, I have a scheduling pre-motion hearing with judge reyes , any museum things I can't miss?

Bravo. More judges need to add "animus" to their toolkit, as so much going on is clearly motivated by it, even if the Extremes don't seem to be noticing that persecuting people (whether or not a protected class) because you find it politically expedient to hate them is not really the way to run a country.

These judges are tough, considering the shit show that is uphill from them,
