It's a new DOJ, and that's no good. This week alone, DOJ's actions regarding executive privilege, the IRS case sanctions order, the Epstein files, and DHS investigations are at issue.
This week has raised a more alarming question: What happens — and how do you deal with matters — if the reality shifts even further, toward a presumption of irregularity?
It already has. From TLA (Three Letter Agencies) protecting and supporting TRump to ICE and CBP abusing people regardless of citizenship it has gotten really irregular.
Two comments: (1) R. Trent McCotter obviously graduated with honors from Trump Law School and (2) with all due respect, it's high time the courts stop threatening orders of contempt and instead file the damn orders against the DOJ and refer the corrupted attorneys to their Bar Associations for disciplinary hearings and disbarment.
Bove swearing in Blanche. Two men who deserve disbarment if not prison. Can’t think of a better kicking off for the “Presumption of Irregularity” era of pretty much every Executive branch institution
You obviously have a lot on your plate, but another topic of interest is whether state/local cops deputized by DHS under 287 would be civilly liable for unlawful conduct in ways that actual Feds are not?
Thanks for the info/update. I’m way past “Susan Collin’s Concerned” about this.
Also, didn’t realize Bove swore Blanche in…that pretty much sums up where this is going.

On operation puppet master document, "Since November 28, 2026...." that hasn't happened yet. That document is false.
King Ozymandias proclaims, “My loyal subjects enjoy My protection” … and the ocean applauds loudly.

The officers themselves may well be out of reach, but their departments and municipalities could well be on the hook. This article explains: https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/the-return-of-287(g)--how-trump-s-immigration-plan-may-leave-sheriffs-liable
