Ms Le clearly should not have been thrown into the deep end tied to a cinder block but that’s what happened. The US Attorney should be hauled in and told to bring his toothbrush.

The fact that Atty Je must worry that the DOJ and ICE will come after her family is truly horrifying. This is exactly how Fascism works. If you don't bow to the State, the State will come after you.
There aren't enough courts it's not just immigration. It's "The New Federalism" pandemic .
You can see it in statements from Democratics - they presume that local police officers and local government are any different e.g., Schumer demands : "the same rules that apply to local Police", with no evidence that state courts are any better at this - what's happened in my experience is if you can't lease a lawyer that is actually knowledgeable about the area of law, they need to explain to an elected judge their client loses they get paid and the cases aren't reported - generally "self service government at full service prices" because state and local government's panacea to human existence is go rent a lawyer. Why ? Because there are no adverse consequences to local government and Police, code enforcement etc for doing nothing elected judges are paid too much to care and the Federal governments' epistemology is get lost Trump has world war to do and we've got the Epstein files.
