It is quite clear that conservatives hate people. I am amazed at the depth and breadth of that hate. I moved from California to here in College Station, to finish my education and raise a family in 1980 and have witnessed a slow but steady growth of this hate at the municipal government level. My mother & wife have since passed and my brother left. Even TAMU has been affected. TexBanistan has outlawed trans health and DEI statewide. If shit for brains gets back in I will be leaving too. THE SOUTH IS SICK!

Is worth noting that the rulings he cited/relied on to justify this nonsense were EXTREMELY recent rulings from Reed O'Connor (Trump) and Edith Jones (Reagan), both of whom are known white supremacist christian nationalist FedSoc clowns. This is the FedSoc feedback loop gaining radius and illustrates how their capture of judiciary to create a TX -> 5th Circuit -> SCOTUS pipeline in order to overturn the 20th century is SUCCEEDING.

I think the average non-poltical citizen really does not understand how destructive Trump's presidency and McConnell's judge appointing spree is and will be for decades on our nation. It literally is going to reverse discrimination and racism on so many levels.

this is the way to win?

Judiciary reform will definitely

be on the peoples docket

come 2025, both SCOTUS

These broad injunctions are very troubling.

There should at least be a streamlined process to appeal them. Given the broad reach, it would be sensible -- and unlike the No Kings Act, there would be no apparent constitutional issues -- to channel such appeals to the D.C. Circuit.

Yes, for now, that would help because of the ideological nature of that court.

But if injunctions are going have reach beyond the circuit, it would be a sensible move.

I'm open to other suggestions from those with expertise. But this just seems like a problem, beyond the merits of specific cases, especially since the system is being gamed for policy ends.

Judge packing has been on the Republican agenda for over 40 years. It is only now becoming so apparent we the public are aware. Stand up and fight back against these ridiculous pseudo-judges who wouldn’t know impartial if it bit them on the nose. Before voting in your local elections read up on the judges actions before voting!!!Thank you law dork for your continued service!!!

Death by a thousand cuts of the Affordable Care Act. What Congress has done, the judiciary is very deviously accomplishing. Can Congress outlaw judge shopping?

I believe that's part of the

they're working on. That's

1 of the reasons to win blue

Congress could easily limit jurisdiction to issue “nationwide” injunctions to the DC federal courts.

If you could just ….somewhere…in your articles…write a short note in parentheses….that a 5 year old would be able to understand…like…is this FOR or is this AGAINST…who is going to be subjected to these rulings ???

I’m not 5, but sometimes I truly struggle to read and understand the implications of all the ramifications of these cases. Thanks…S

At a certain time, when faced with absolute moral bankruptcy and corruption of the courts, the time comes to completely ignore their rulings. Let the judges try and enforce it. I wish them luck.

Since these bans seem to be based on "lack of authority" it is clear that the way to stop them is to have Congress grant the authority to do just what the rule requires. The importance of the down ticket elections couldn't be greater for this issue. Will this get to the Extremes before the new Congress is in place to do it, presuming the new president supports it?

I guess I'm confused: You say this judge is "blocking" something, but all I see are words on a page. Let this coward go out in public and try to block people from getting life-saving healthcare in person, we'll see how brave he is.

Court justices, fighting over where, when and how it is acceptable to discriminate. Shameful. To think that discriminating against gender identity is any different than sexual discrimination is absurd.
