Updated lyrics to "America"

"Life can be great in America"

"If you are straight in America!"

"You can be free in America"

"But Tennessee's in America!"

"You can dress frilly and fancy"

"As long as nobody can see"

"Here you are free and can have pride"

"As long as the cops can't come inside"

"You're free to be queer and act odd"

"Someone will call out the Vice Squad!"

"America sounds like a horror!"

"You're gonna need a good lawyer"

This is what we're arguing about. Whether a man can put on a sequined dress one or two sizes too small, lip synch "I've Never Been to Me" and pass the bucket without being arrested, tried and convicted and be put on sex offenders registry. If it weren't so fucking pathetic it would be comical. When are normal people going to punish the shit out of these pervert Republicans for wasting time and their money on this nonsense. P.S. Any minor in America whose family has Amazon Prime can stream Ru Paul's drag race for free. To their hearts' content.

The assassination of Garfield has a lot of back story as suggested by the book An Assassin In Utopia: The True Story Of A Nineteenth-Century Sex Cult And A President’s Murder By Susan Wels. James Garfield had a colorful background, including some struggles as a child.

Why aren’t the laws written to penalize the parent who BRINGS a minor child for an adult themed performance? Why?

The party of small government now wants to regulate my living room.

Awesome.

I would think that none of this could pass muster at the SCOTUS level, however, there is that pesky definition of obscenity as "I know it when I see it."

After that, Chris, I'm seated as well. Phew!

Is there some law, in Tennessee or otherwise, that makes something obscene as to children but not adults. Keeping in mind that a minor can be 17, is there something that would appeal to his prurient interest that would not appeal to the prurient interest of an 18 year old?
