You know what my friends; I've finally figured out what the derogatory usage of the cfg's and the extremist right's "Woke" actually means in reality. It actually means "conscience." It's a fumble of language and intent. "It" and they despise souls who actually have "conscience, truth, trust, and honor." The serially sociopathic and narcissistic do not possess those qualities and despise, mock, and destroy people, institutions and principles they don't possess nor believe in. "They" don't possess it and doubt and despise those that do. "I" am most proud to be 'woke.' How about you ?

So professionals are being warned that professional development may, or will, be disallowed? I wonder how many will decide they don’t want to work under those conditions?

It certainly seems like this country is being run by a terrorist organization hell-bent on punishing everyone who tried to hold a felon responsible for crimes he committed over the last 10 years. It really had to be hard on poor Todd... 🙄

This memorandum exudes such blatantly absurd bs, that no rational person could come away from it feeling as if their intelligence hadn’t just been insulted. To state from the outset that the Bondi DOJ truly cares about this “public service and it’s being a public trust that the DOJ must consist with the Constitution, be stewards of the public fisc., represent all Americans regardless of ideology or political preferences,” attempts to gaslight anyone who employs common sense or at least can remember from moment to moment. To suggest that Bondi, one of Trump’s loudest mouthed election deniers cares so patriotically or even knows the US Constitution is beyond laughable! But Blanche’s memo. continuing its assault on the intelligence of all those who think for themselves, by issuing his own unconstitutional directive that limits DOJ employees from participating with the American Bar Association (ABA) “with engagements and written publications that rely upon taxpayer funded resources Moreover, DOJ employees must conduct themselves in a manner that does not appear to undermine the Dept.’s core mission of administering justice in a fair, official and even-handed manner.” With Bondi as the top cop, agitating for the impeachment of a federal judge (Boezman) whose decision she disagreed with concerning habeas corpus for alleged members of a Venezuela gang, Tren de Agua, prior to being deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador, Bondi actually suggests that violating a federal court order, even if the particular judge issuing the legal ruling is alleged to be outside his jurisdiction, is not contempt This is a gross and flagrant violation of the U.S. justice system. Calls from MAGA and other Trump sycophants became so problematic that SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts wrote his own memo that “impeaching a federal judge simply because one disagrees with his/her decision is not an appropriate option but that appealing the order is the appropriate channel one could consider.” So, here we have the Nation’s top cop in Bondi who doesn’t seem to know or understand, much less respect, the basic tenants of the justice system. Neither does Todd Blanche, the DAG, who achieved his current position as Trump’s counselor during one of his multiple indictments. In short, Blanche’s memo appears to bar DOJ employees of speaking, writing and participating in ABA activities, using taxpayer revenues. One can only imagine that Mr. Blanche’s memo., which is a clear violation of the DOJ employees’ First Americans rights, was most likely the result of scathing remarks either he himself received by the ABA or his only real client, Donald Trump having been called out on his unconstitutional EOs. Perhaps an ABA report covered how the client of Trump’s AG is not “we the people,” but Donald Trump. That’s neither Constitutional and it certainly doesn’t “ defend policy choices by America’s democratically elected leadership as reflected in Congressional enacted statutes.”
