Thank you for your words. Truth and heartbreak and daring to hope there’s a way through this. So grateful for what you do, Chris.

Much of the blame for his avoiding accountability lies with feckless john roberts and the maligned luddites groomed by oligarchs.

As SCOTUS - or two-thirds of it - break out to harmonize the chorus of the money song from Cabaret.

Thanks Chris. I remain full of rage at the authors of Donnie's coup attempt and subsequent election. Selfish, foolish , men (yes, mostly men) who have chosen, over and over, to throw away the American republic for money and personal comfort. They disgust me.

The thing that got to me today was the apparent normalcy, So calm and orderly. Yet as I watched, I was shaking. My stomach was churning. I hadn't expected that reaction. The profound sadness I have felt since November 5 was becoming challenged. That sadness has been suppressing something. And today I felt it.

You are so truthful in this essay. We keep clinging to hope in our institutions. We will likely be rebuilding them for decades to come.

That’s how it’s done, gently snd with dignity handing over the reins to the madman you didn’t do enough to hold responsible for his criminal acts. That’s the beauty of our system of government.

Very true. I ask will there ever be another election?

The Supreme Court lied in its Texas v. White decision in saying that states knew secession is illegal. It's corrupt.

I wonder if trump will swear an oath to the constitution on Jan 20…. What a joke

Hopeful? Perhaps … but as a last minute Hail Mary, Trump throws deep to his go-to Judge Aileen Cannon to block Jack Smith from publishing his two-volume report. Score?
