This is not going to be a good month in the courts. I'm not looking forward to the decisions. I'm looking forward to your writings. I'm just not looking forward to many of the decisions.
Hey, Chris, can you spell it out for me a little more explicitly what is meant by the Tennessee pediatric transition ban litigation being relisted? Does that mean it has the possibility of being drawn again on 6/06 and given a date to begin being put in front of SCOTUS?
any chance that the Extremes are going to say, "Nah, summertime rays are more important to us than finishing up this term so we're just going to postpone the big decision until sometime in 2025?
I seriously doubt it. They don't *have* to recess at the end of June, and have gone into July, but aside from that, the only thing they could do within normal practice is to hold over a case for reargument next term. And, I don't think, as of right now, that there are any cases with issues that seem ripe for reargument.
tRump "immunity" decision...likely to be released the last minute of the last hour of the last day of this term. If they could, a couple of the Court's members would even delay until next term, anything to help the convicted felon get elected.
A former Alito law clerk also thinks he is a problem.

Thank you, Chris. As always, awesome coverage.
Thanks!

well, I wasn’t thinking of “normal” practice. Sigh.
Honestly, I don't know what that means. Could they just stop coming to work? Yes. Will that happen? No.
I suppose I should have used a sarcasm emoji.
