The irony is that the only seditious behavior since perhaps Nixon was Trump in the 3 months of trying to “fix” a presidential election that he lost and encouraging a violent attack on congress on January 6th.

Predictable — sexual predators, rapists and pedophiles are usually afraid of women: Exhibit A, Donald J. Trump.

FTR, networks aren't licensed; it's their affiliates that are. ABC doesn't have a license that can be pulled.

Vile is an understatement but I'm not sure there's another word that captures it.

Rep. Jason Crow posted some of the horrendous voice mail messages he's received following Tя☭mp's posts calling the video seditious. If you can stomach it, they're here https://x.com/repjasoncrow/status/1991962095102103635?s=46&t=3k7GcWtYd6UmwMTK6mfZJw

Ms Susan V I happily am not on X nor its previous name. I simply could not pay.

I've never paid for it, and the only reason I still use it is that the majority of the sports content I want isn't available elsewhere.

Crow has a Bluesky account but he hasn't posted this audio there. If he does I'll share that link.

We live in dangerous times. I welcome things like the video from moderate-leaning members of Congress regarding not following illegal orders. Let's be blunt about the stakes.

Meanwhile, this sort of propaganda is on official websites.

Succinct. And to the point. NK III is next. The American spine is stiffening. Autocrats, beware.

When you state the facts about military law, let's start with the fact that the UCMJ requires service members to not follow unlawful orders. The Code is very clear and it is supported by caselaw arising from the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam. Trump's unhinged statements about members of Congress committing "seditious behavior" are at their core devious lies. Trump was signaling to his violent fringe supporters to go after the patriots who were speaking the truth about our system of laws. He was once again pushing back against legal restraints, trying to obliterate the checks and balances that are built into our constitutional structure. And we are once again thrust into the position where speaking out against this lunacy is mandatory. No one in this country should remain silent.

The White House is sponsoring FB video posts about the “seditious“ illegal order video; saw it this evening.

I can send you a screencap if you like.

I reported the WH post for misinformation.
