JFC these people really want to dismantle everything. The NLRB has existed for 89 years. Unconstitutional my ass.

Yes, they absolutely want to crush it all, burn it to the ground.

It's the Seven Mountains Mandate ( it's co-opted from the seven mountains around Jerusalem and the seven pillars of christianity). Pretty much all of the cases that Chris covers here are directly tied to the Christian nationalist agenda as outlined in their 900 page manifesto, Project 2025.

Seven Mountains Mandate holds that there are seven aspects of society that believers seek to influence: family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment, business, and government.

I think the history of this country has demonstrated that it's entirely possible to be wrong about something for 89 years, at least.

“Albright blocked a NLRB administrative proceeding involving SpaceX from going forward because, he concluded, the NLRB’s administrative law judges are “unconstitutionally insulated from removal” and the same is true of NLRB’s members themselves.”

Am I missing something? Aren’t we talking about federal judges who are insulated from removal, who are saying this about agency judges and employees, who I believe can be removed at the pleasure of the president, whereas federal judges generally cannot? Pot, kettle, glass house, rocks?

I mean, not to accept their argument, but an Article III federal judge is a different branch, so that’s just a totally different thing.

The idea that the mere holding of an administrative hearing itself does “irreparable harm” is of course preposterous.

Litigation like this does not come cheap. Who’s footing the bill this time? Not “Yapp Enterprises” you can be sure.

Exactly - take your pick from any of the ultra right wing organizations, "think tanks". Completely anti-democratic organizations that want to take over this country, turn it into a theocracy.

Why do we need Federal agencies - or Congress, even - when we have right wing judges and justices to decide what’s right for us?

Ah that’s the point. The bought off, religious zealots on the corrupted SC want to run and decide everything for the great unwashed.

Vote out every single republican. They’ve created this monster.

Yes, they did. I'm not shocked they want to f**k with labor laws. They're trying to force another gilded age on us. Vote every corrupt Republican out of office.

(Just edited for a typo).

The end of "Chevron deference" teased open the door for THIS?

This is part of the same overarching effort, but this is a different strand in that effort — the SEC v. Jarkesy case last term. (Discussed here: https://www.lawdork.com/p/scotus-is-going-into-july-destroying)
